Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Voices helps small business owners in the United States advocate for policies that matter to them and that will help their businesses, employees, and communities. The Voices community, comprised of alumni of the 10,000 Small Businesses program from across the country, drives tangible impact against real policy issues by making their voices heard.
Making Small Business Issues a Topic of the Presidential Debate
Small business owners do not feel candidates for president are talking enough about small business issues. According to a survey released in May, 55% of small business owners say they’re dissatisfied with the way candidates have been addressing small business issues, with just 27% saying they are satisfied.
Policy Agenda
10,000 Small Businesses Voices is proud to partner with the Bipartisan Policy Center to help all lawmakers consider the small business perspective in the issues they work on. The Voices policy agenda builds on the Bipartisan Policy Center’s analysis of 10,000 Small Businesses Voices survey data.
Armed with the insights and data from our small business owners, 10,000 Small Businesses Voices launches specific advocacy campaigns targeted at addressing public policy issues that are important to our community.
